Fire started in the outskirts of the town while supplying gas to Alytus gas distribution station

On 25 of November, 13:15 fire started in an evaporator of a gas tanker feeding gas to Alytus gas distribution station during planned works in a wooded territory, at the outskirts of Alytus Town. The equipment belongs to Polish supplier DUON, services are provided at the order of Amber Grid. The fire was eliminated after a couple of hours.

Within a year, the head office of Amber Grid will be moved to the Business Garden Vilnius office complex, which is being developed at the periphery of Vilnius. The news has been announced having accomplished the new office lease procurement procedure.

The total Amber Grid revenue in three quarters of 2020 reaches EUR 38.2 million

Amber Grid earned EUR 38.2 million in revenue in the first nine months of this year, which remained at the same level as during the same period last year. Although the tariff for transmission services provided by Amber Grid has been 16% lower since the beginning of this year, increased gas transmission volumes to Latvia and higher gas demand in Lithuania, especially in the electricity generation sector, helped maintain a stable level of gas transmission revenues.
