Announcement a non-binding market demand assessment for incremental capacity

Amber Grid informs its current and potential users on the opportunity to submit their non-binding demand indications for incremental capacity at interconnection point with Latvia and Poland. Such information should be submitted within 8 weeks starting from 1st July 2019.

The Board of Amber Grid offers shareholders to conclude the agreement for the purchase of pipes for the GIPL with Polish Izostal

The Board of Amber Grid made a decision on the conclusion of the agreement for the purchase of pipes for the construction of GIPL with Poland’s Izostal S.A., company. The contract estimated EUR 26.4 million (excluding VAT) with Izostal S.A. will be signed subject to the approval of Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders to be held on 23 July.

Lithuania opens new opportunities for the development of green gas market

In promoting green gas production in Lithuania, in June, the natural gas transmission system operator Amber Grid will start providing businesses with guarantees of origin for gas produced from renewable energy sources. This is provided for in the Order of the Minister of Energy that was signed in May this year.

Amber Grid modernized the gas distribution stations for the total of EUR 4 million, and plans reconstruction of new objects

Regarding modern requirements, two gas distribution stations in Alytus and Jonava were renovated by Amber Grid. The value of these projects is EUR 4 million exclusive of VAT, half of which was allocated from the European Union Structural Funds.
