New Prices for Gas Transmission Services for 2021 Are Set

 

The National Energy Regulatory Council approved Amber Grid gas transmission services tariffs that will come into effect from 1 January 2021.

More gas was supplied from the Klaipėda LNG terminal during the first quarter than via pipelines

With the formation of advantageous gas prices in world gas markets, three quarters of the gas supplied through the Lithuanian gas transmission grid in the Q1 of 2020 was imported through the Klaipėda LNG terminal.

Archaeological research under way along the GIPL route

As the scheduled construction works for the Gas Interconnection Poland–Lithuania (GIPL) proceed, archaeological research along the planned pipeline route has begun in parallel. For the Lithuanian archaeologists, this is one of the largest projects in recent years.
