On November 19 AB Amber Grid Board has set the natural gas transmission prices for 2019. The approved prices for natural gas transmission services are submitted for evaluation by the National Commission for Energy Control and Prices (NCECP).
Lithuania’s natural gas transmission system operator AB Amber Grid reports a decline of 16,9 pct in its revenue as compared to the same quarter of last year. The main reason of the lower revenue is that the regulated transmission service prices applicable from the beginning of this year were set lower for the Lithuanian users of transmission system. The revenue has decreased also because of the lower gas consumption in fertilizer and energy sectors.

On June 7 AB Amber Grid has launched an international tender to carry out the construction works of the Gas Interconnection Poland-Lithuania (GIPL) in the territory of the Republic of Lithuania. This tender has competitive procedure with negotiations.
